No, Alliance Membership is not required! Membership is a way for our community to support our work while receiving extra benefits.
While membership makes it easier for us to help, it’s in no way required or expected. Our goal is to help all clinicians achieve success with neurofeedback!

We put membership fees toward development of new software, creating new resources and educational content, and adding value for members of our community.
Allowing a subset of our users to support us through optional memberships makes it easier for us to keep the costs of getting started as low as possible for new clinicians and home-users, especially those in economically-disparate areas.
Your support allows us to be generous when donating our time or equipment to help with research and education, and allows us to bring neurofeedback to regions and communities that benefit the most from it.

Many clinicians choose to become members of the Alliance Program because of the included technical support.
While it’s helpful to know that support is available and to quickly schedule a time online, it is by no means required to succeed with EEGer.
For non-members, we offer support by email and through the Knowledge Base section of our website. We’re also available for paid support appointments without becoming a member.

The differences between tiers are not that significant right now, and more of a reflection of how valuable EEGer has been to your practice, If you’re able to comfortably subscribe at a higher tier, we appreciate the support!
Members at our Platinum tier will generally receive a higher discount than Silver or Gold, around 15% compared to 10%. There is also more flexibility when scheduling appointments, which can be helpful depending on time zones, but not ‘required’ to get a useful time scheduled.
In the future we plan to add additional benefits, but our goal has always been to ensure that we’re providing the best value first!

Subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual basis, with annual memberships receive a discount. Payments and billing are handled online and the process is largely automatic, but if you have specific questions or concerns please let us know!

Alliance Membership is based on the individual or practice, not on a system-by-system or license-by-license basis.
When you start your membership, you can write to us with which individuals can contact us on your behalf like technicians or coworkers in the same location.
