Space Race is Frozen and does not provide feedback

Space Race can encounter issues on certain machines that can result in the game freezing. This can be observed while Paused at the start of the session on the game’s title screen. If the game is unfrozen, the stars in the background will twinkle. If the game is frozen, the stars will remain static. Additionally, beginning the session with F5 will see the game stuck on the title screen and not advancing to feedback.

To resolve the issue, adjust the graphics settings on the computer. Changing Space Race from the integrated to the dedicated graphics card (or vice versa) will often allow the game to render properly and eliminate the freezing issue.
